Some highlights of the year

European management
Ottobrunn, February 13, 1996

Jacques Pateau organized a conference for the managers of LFK, Daimler-Benz Aerospace, on the subject “Cultural differences between France and Germany. The experience of European companies”. The program fitted into the context of the closer relations foreseen in the European aeronautic, space and military industry.

Ascofore followed in the steps of Europipe and Dilling
March 1996

Intercultural relations became an icon in the Franco-German steel industry. Following the initiative of Europipe and Dilling, Ascoforge, a company of Usinor, decided to implement the “Pateau seminars” in order to improve the effectiveness of their cooperation with Schmiedag a member of the German group Hoescht.

It appeared that the Franco-German station, though exemplary, was nevertheless a victim of certain communication pitfalls and stumbling blocks ! As part of a meeting that brought together many of the station's producers, Jacques Pateau was asked to give his testimony and transmit what he has learned from his intercultural experience.

The Civil Service and intercultural relations
November 1996

Throughout the month of November, the Pateau Consultants team conducted interviews and seminars for the Euroinstitut of Khel with those involved in the cross-border cooperation “Grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit”. The objective was to improve relations between French, Swiss and German civil servants.
