During the Kick-off meeting for EADS that brought the top fifty managers of the new European aeronautic, space and military giant together for the first time, Jacques Pateau was invited by the two co-presidents, Philippe Camus and Rainer Hertrich, to hold a conference on the subject “Cultural aspects of multinational company integration”.

The Pateau Consultants team finished a film entitled “Intercultural Training for a New Company Culture” five years after producing a similar document for Aérospatiale. This training tool is specifically intended for Aventis CropScience's expatriates and multicultural teams.

Jacques Pateau held a conference at the end of the General Assembly of Managing Directors and Executive Officers of the Gas and Electric Industries. Following the conference focusing on “The intercultural dimension in European companies”, Jacques participated in a roundtable discussion with Bernard Leblanc, Deputy Chief Officer of Gaz de France and Claude Renoult, Head of Major Projects at EDF (Eléctricité de France) which was hosted by John Reichenbach, a reporter at Europe 1.
