Some highlights of the year

TEDxtalk…
Online, January 20th, 2015

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is originally a global set of conferences run under the slogan « Ideas worth spreading ». TEDx are independent TED- like events respecting the same rules : the speakers are given a maximum of 18 minutes to present their ideas in the most innovative and engaging ways they can and the talks are offered for free viewing online. On Januar 20th, Jacques Pateau recorded in Compiegne a talk about « Cooperation management in global companies ». 

Aero Gearbox International on the right track…
Cross-cultural management UK, France, Germany, 2015

This new joint venture von Safran and Rolls-Royce will design, develop, produce and support accessory drive trains (ADTs) for all of Rolls-Royce's future civil aircraft engines. Aero Gearbox International will cover the entire range of civil aircraft, from business jets to widebody commercial jets. Pateau Consultants were asked to support and to organise the kick-off of the new organisation. Key challenges : mastering cultural differences, developing trust, creating virtual closeness for remote teams.

Change management in the energy sector
EEX, May-December 2015

Headquartered in Leipzig (Germany) with offices in Berlin, Brussels, London, Milan and Paris, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) is the leading energy exchange in Europe. Following the change of the shareholder structure the different companies of the group have to be brought together in a efficient and pragmatic manner. Pateau Consultants was chosen as the external adviser for change management through the whole company.

January-December 2015

In the framework of the Sonacademy, the Corporate Academy of Sonepar, the world leader in the distribution of technical equipment and solutions for electricity professionals, Pateau Consultants were asked this year to run the module « Intercultural knowledge » in Miami, Singapore, Shanghai but also Bogota in Colombia. During two days senior managers of all the subsidiaries of the group are invited to increase their cultural awareness and to develop their sense of belonging to the group. Next destinations : Lima and Santiago.

Meeting of German Top Executives
March 19th, 2015

The Baden-Badener Unternehmergespräche, (Baden-Baden Business talks) is aiming at strengthening the ability of top executive leaders to measure up the responsibilities they need for long-term performance in companies as well as in regard to the present and future public welfare. Speakers at BBUG are renowned experts and leaders from business and politics. Jacques Pateau was invited on March 19th in Baden-Baden to talk together with Volker Pyrtek, CEO of Buyin, about « « Cross-cultural cooperation in Franco-German companies » ?
