Cross-cultural Management for EJ
Lyon, March 12th, 2024

EJ is the global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of access solutions for the world’s growing infrastructure with total market coverage across America and throughout the world. Jacques Pateau was chosen as the key-note speaker for the annual meeting of EJ- EMEA which brought together more than 150 European and US-managers from different functions – Sales, R&D, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, HR, etc.. The presentation of the topic “ The importance of culture for sustainable development” allowed to set the event tone and to engage audiences. 

Buyin: a sense of continuity
Bonn, Paris, Chaudfontaine, February-September, 2024

14 years after their creation the “Bridges” are considered at Buyin, the procurement joint-venture between Deutsche Telekom and Orange, as one of the tools to develop the company culture. In the meantime the focus is not just to address French and and German cultures, but to extend the scope to a multicultural approach, due the high level of cultural diversity within Buyin. The objective of these sessions is still to master cultural differences, to improve concrete day-to-day collaboration and cooperation spirit. 

MBA
Mannheim, September 24-25, 2024

After 15 years of lecturing in Mannheim in the framework of the Full Time MBA and the Executive MBA Mannheim-Shanghai we are very proud to continue to bring our contribution to the success of the Mannheim Business School which is the leading institution in business administration in Germany and particularly known for their outstanding research and high teaching standards. This year we delivered our message in the form of a two-days seminar for 30 American, Asian and European students. 

A new experience for IDEE-Europe
Gerlingen, December 19-20, 2024

As a community of independent electrical distribution companies IDEE creates connections between members, suppliers and customers throughout Europe. Pateau Consultants was asked to organize a two-days seminar for the European top management. Objectives of the session : avoiding cultural misunderstandings and pitfalls, mastering cultural specificities and their roots - companies and national cultures -, and developing cross-cultural skills to increase individual and group performance.
